Do I need my ID card to register?

If you are a new student, no. Returning students do need their ID card to register because the PAC is required.

Usually about a week prior to early registration the schedule of classes is published online at http://busi.binghamton.edu/schedule.html.

How do I register for a minicourse?

Prior to the add deadline for the regular semester you may register yourself via the BUSI Web Center. After the add deadline for the regular semester you should register for mincourses in the Registrar's Office.

How do I petition a class that is full?

Each academic department has its own policies regarding petitioning a class. Please contact the department of the course you are interested in petitioning.

How do I withdraw from a course?

After the course drop/delete deadline and until the course drop/withdrawal deadline, you can withdraw from a course by logging into BUSI and dropping the course from your schedule.

 

How do I perform a late course add or late course withdrawal?

You should get a late add or course withdrawal forms from the advising office of your school and process it as instructed on the form. When the form is complete bring it to the Registrar's Office.

How can I register for courses with a time conflict?

You must fill out the course conflict form and obtain the signature of the instructor of the course in which you will be missing class time. When the form is complete bring it to the Registrar's Office. Once you are registered with a time conflict, all registration activity (adds, drops, grade changes, etc.) will need to be done in the Registrar's office.

How do I withdraw from the University after classes have started?

You must fill out a semester withdrawal form to officially withdraw. You get the semester withdrawal form from the Registrar’s office.
